I confess that while this is sort of a post about Bustler Street Food in Nottingham it is really just an excuse to eat a lot of food from Secret Burger Club.
I ‘researched’ this over several months while I tracked them down time and time again to sample their specials.
I have written about all their burgers over the years and I am as in love with their smashburges now as much as I was back in 2017 when I first ate one.
So strap yourself in to look at some very tasty burgers!
BACON DREAMZ
The Bacon Dreamz is probably my favourite of all the Secret Burger Specials and one that I will always make a special trip to find them for and I have often eulogised about (read more here)
It could well be their most famous burger as well with the fun addition of ‘Frazzles’ or generic ‘frazzle style crisps’ making it stand out from the crowd.
Two juicy smashed patties, lots of crispy Bacon, lots of melty cheese, ‘Baconaisse’ and a good dollop of BBQ sauce all add to make it an absolute classic!

“The Bacon Dreamz is basically one big extravagant Bacon themed Cheese Burger, it is so good that it is borderline criminal to allow the mass public access to this sandwich. I am not sure that they can cope with this, I mean once ‘you know it is out there’, well it really is “out there!”
DOEBACK BURGER
Another weekend and another visit to check out some Top Smashburger action at Secret Burger Club in the Bustler Street Food Club in Nottingham

Listed as ‘Two juicy smashed beef patties, American Cheese, Smoked Bacon (extra crispy), Blue Cheese Ranch, Pickled Pink onions, Hot Sauce, Potato stick crunch’ it is one amazing bite of food

“The combination of the Hot Sauce and the Blue Cheese Ranch is the kicker that makes this a very special bite of burger. It’s kind of like the flavouring that you get on a buffalo hot wing. That is what they were aiming for and that is what they have managed to replicate. I kind of loved it and I wasn’t sure that I was going to, so that made me grin inside like the Cheshire Cat.”
DOUBLE DUKE
The Duke Burger was the first burger that I ever ate from the Secret Burger Club boys and is one that has always been close to my heart.
That first bite was back in 2017 at the now defunct Street Food Club (read more here) and it was to be the start of my love affair with their smash burgers
I didn’t think that they could make it any better until I met up with them at Bustler and added an extra patty to make it into a Double Duke
ANIMAL STYLE
I missed out on getting one of their Animal Style specials a week ago so was well chuffed when they made me one today off-menu! The last time I had one of these was way back in 2019 when my mate Mike was in from the States and I was showing him the best burgers that Nottingham had to offer (read more here)
Listed as “Double mustard grilled Patties, American cheese, grilled onion, Secret Sauce, Lettuce, Pickle, Tomato” the burger is an ode and a nod to the infamous Animal Style Burger from the secret menu at IN ‘n’ OUT Burger in the States.
It’s a great big messy burger that needs a lot of napkins and a whole lot of fun!
Bustler in Nottingham do offer a lot of different Street Food Vendors with something for everyone’s Tastes. I have tried many of the other peoples food but I confess I was just coming down for the Secret Burger Guys! 😎
